Raw Bistro is based in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, about an hour south of Minneapolis/St. Paul. We’re fortunate to be in the heart of a thriving sustainable agriculture area, and we’re committed to sourcing all of our ingredients from local or regional producers who share our values of humane and environmentally sound farming practices.
Locally grown foods are fresher and more nutritious, because they spend less time in shipping and storage facilities. Traveling only short distances means they also have a much smaller carbon footprint. Just as important, working with local farmers and ranchers lets us develop personal relationships and be more involved in the production process. We enjoy talking with our suppliers, learning about sustainable food production and watching livestock graze peacefully in the pasture.
