We know the first question most raw feeders ask before ordering is simple: will it actually arrive frozen? The answer is yes and here's exactly how we make that happen.

Every order ships directly from our production facility in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, where our team makes, packs, and quality-checks every product before it leaves our hands. We've built our entire shipping process around keeping your dog's raw food safe, frozen, and fresh from our door to yours.

 

How We Ship Frozen Raw Dog Food

All frozen raw dog food orders are packed in biodegradable and/or recyclable insulated coolers with dry ice to maintain safe temperatures throughout transit. We ship via UPS — either Ground or 2-Day Air depending on your location — and every shipment is timed to arrive within 2 days to protect product integrity.

Frozen food ships separately from dehydrated items.

Your shipping zone is determined automatically at checkout based on your delivery address. See the map below to get a general idea of which zone you're in.

Ground Zone (Midwest and central states)

  • 6 lb bags & bulk boxes: FREE shipping
  • 3 lb bags: $25.00 flat rate
  • Delivered within 1–2 days via UPS Ground

2-Day Air Zone (coastal and southern states)

  • All frozen orders: $25.00 flat rate (3 lb bags, 6 lb bags, and bulk boxes)
  • Delivered within 2 days via UPS 2-Day Air

Frozen Shipping Schedule

We ship frozen raw dog food Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend transit delays. Orders placed late in the week ship the following Monday.

Same-day shipping cutoff: 8:00 AM Central Time. Orders placed before 8:00 AM CT on a shipping day will ship that day. Orders placed after 8:00 AM CT will ship the following available shipping day. If you need an order to ship same-day after the cutoff, please call us at 507-263-5959 and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Shipping Days:

  • Orders placed Monday–Wednesday before 8:00 AM CT ship the same day
  • Orders placed Monday–Wednesday after 8:00 AM CT ship the next shipping day
  • Orders placed Thursday–Sunday ship the following Monday

If you're located close to our Minnesota facility, some orders may ship later in the week. Once your label is created, you'll receive a confirmation email with UPS tracking information.

What to Expect When Your Frozen Raw Dog Food Arrives

Your order should arrive frozen solid. That's our standard, and it's what we pack for.

Because we use dry ice and insulated packaging, it's normal for the dry ice to be fully sublimated (gone) by the time your package arrives. As long as the patties are still frozen or very cold and firm to the touch, your product is safe and in excellent condition.

Occasionally, the outer surface of patties may feel slightly soft while the interior remains frozen solid. This is normal and safe.

We recommend bringing your shipment inside promptly and placing items in the freezer right away.

If your order arrives warm, fully thawed, or the patties feel soft throughout, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the product and packaging. We'll make it right.

Where We Ship Raw Dog Food

Our full frozen raw dog food line ships to the contiguous United States. We do not ship frozen products to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

 

Returns & Refunds

Frozen raw dog food is perishable and cannot be returned. If there's an issue with your frozen order such as damaged packaging, temperature concerns, or missing items, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. That window allows us to investigate and make it right for you.

Dehydrated food, chews, and treats may be returned within 30 days of purchase if the item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

Yes. We pack every frozen order in insulated coolers with dry ice and ship via UPS Ground or 2-Day Air so your order arrives within 2 days. Your food should arrive frozen solid. We ship frozen raw food to all 48 contiguous U.S. states. We don't currently ship frozen products to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
